So it begins for me again. A freshly shaved face in honour of Movember and raising awareness for men’s prostate cancer.
I wasn’t so scared shaving off the goatee, I was actually very nervous this time around. Last night I took my lovely clippers, took a deep breath and trim it down to as close to the skin as possible so it would be ready for the shave this morning. I have to say it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. The person on the other side of the mirror wasn’t shocking to me this time around.
This morning I lathered my face up with shaving cream, feeling odd that I actually had shaving cream on my upper lip and chin. Again taking a deep breath, I shaved it down, trying to be careful of my lips and lovely mole. Alas as careful as I was, I did manage to cut myself – yeah not used to shaving in that area.
All in all, this wasn’t as a dramatic experience as it was last year.
So hopefully you will be able to donate during this month and help me raise money for to fund prostate cancer research. That’s right all proceeds raised go directly to Prostate Cancer Canada. And remember that every $25 you donate, you will be entered into a draw to win a lovely $75 gift basket from Masc.
