In the endless ritual of birthdays, today is my wonderful father’s birthday.
My dad isn’t in Canada on his birthday, but spending it down in Argentina with his sister’s and brother, enjoy the nice warm sunshine that the weather down there has. Ok enough about the weather. 
My dad has taught me a lot, though probably just a fraction of what he knows. He’s taught me how to fish when I was a younger. I remember throwing in my first line into the creek in Mississauga Ontario and catching my very first fish. Being the great fishermen that we were, we brought it back home for my mom to cook. He has taught me how to cook a killer BBQ, or as we in Argentina call, asado. He even taught me how to cook it in our fireplace during the cold Toronto winters.
Granted I never really got his mechanical skills, as I can’t fix a car to save my life, but he on the other hand loves to take mechanical machinery apart and see how things work to put it back together again.
Though I probably don’t say it enough, I truly love my father.
