Vancouver Twestival 2010

With the work of Rebecca Bollwitt and help from the many volunteers and Sponsors including Marc Smith from Amuse Consulting and CBC Vancouver for the venue this years Vancouver Twestival is looking to be bigger and better.

Twestival is a global movement which unites twitters from around the world in their local communities working towards one common goal or cause. This year the cause is Concern Worldwide who’s “mission is to help people living in extreme poverty achieve major improvements in their lives – improvements they can sustain without ongoing support.”

Vancouver Twestival takes place on Thursday March 25 at the CBC Vancouver’s Audience Lounge located at West Georgia and Hamilton Street. You can purchase your $20 tickets for the event via the Amiando system. Your ticket includes admission to Twestival, 1 wine ticket, 1 raffle ticket, appies, Twestival button, and some entertainment by the ever funny Rob Cottingham, live DJ, and Mojave. This event promises to be filled with fun and laughter, silent auctions and great networking opportunities.  You can follow along on Twitter by following @YVRTwestival to get important updates.

The goal is to reach $4,000 and it can only be done with your support. If you need more reason to come out and support this great cause, just look at the following video.

So come out and Tweet – Meet – Give!
