After all that has happened over the past 2 weeks on both the personal home front and at work, I needed to break free from one of them and just concentrate on me. As a result I decided to take this week off work. I’m not planning on going anywhere as I normally do when I take a week off work, but this time I’ll be hanging around the city and just chillaxing as much as possible.
To help with that, I decided that I would disconnect from work completely. I normally would check work emails from time to time, but I thought that this time around I would completely disconnect. That is right I disconnected my work emails from coming to iPhone. I wanted the temptation to be gone. I also made a mental note that should anyone call me from work, I would ignore my work number. I think that my co-workers can handle the week without me.
Granted I’m not disconnecting from the interweb as others might do when they take vacation time, but I wanted to completely get away from work and anything related to work. I want to be fully recharged when I get back after the labour day long-weekend.
I hope to catch up on some summer movies that I missed as well as get out and meet with some friends from time to time. Hell I might even go on my own photo walk. Who knows you might even see some more blog posts as well.

Well even though I’m a client, and definitely more related to Marketwire than most, I’m going to count myself an exception (cuz friends first right), and suggest we grab lunch or breakfast on Monday or Tuesday and catch up. Just got home from my trip and I want to see you with my own eyes and make sure everything is all good.
Maybe Tuesday would work (since tomorrow is fairly short notice). End of the week we have a bunch of company. Are you popping out for perogies and such with David and Brian and co on Friday night? You should think about it if you don’t have other plans.
Anyway, lemme know about Tuesday.
