This past weekend Russ, Junior and myself headed up the Sea to Sky highway on our way up to Murrin Provincial Park. We’ve always driven pass this park on our way up to Whistler and our favourite camp ground Calchek, and have always wanted to stop by this park.
Murrin Park is just located a few short kilometers north of Britannia Beach and south of Squamish. The park is about 24 hectares in size, contains some small rock climbing areas, great picnic tables, as well as a great place to swim and fish at Browning Lake. The park was established on May 1962.
We walked around the lake and it didn’t take that long at all. We’ll probably visit this little park again and it’s a great day tripper away from the hussle and bussle of downtown.
