This past weekend I was previlged enough to have been invited by Nestea and the wonderful people of MSL Worldwide Marketing to attend Chill on the Hill in Whistler.
I drove up early Saturday morning with Tanya and Jennifer (Russ stayed home since he was not feeling well) and enjoyed our wonderful early morning drive up the Sea-to-Sky highway (side note, the improvements are great and makes the drive up to Whistler much more enjoyable now).
We were greeted by MSL Marketing who let us know what to expect for the days event. From their interacTEA tent, snow park (yes snow trucked in in 30 degree weather), volley ball courts, beach lounges, Protest the Hero and The Stills playing, as well as a free flowing supply of Nestea Ice Tea to cool us all off in the 30 + degrees, the organizers pulled off a wonderful event – Hats Off!
We walked around Whistler Mountain, enjoyed the Peak to Peak adventure gondola ride to Blackcombe Mountain (yeah I was brave enough to travel the 11 minute ride, and back). We were even treated to the Nestea VIP lounge for a buffet lunch and wonderful drinks created by the team at the Peak.
We met some great people at the event, including the MSL team and another blogger Allie (who wore her gear up the gondola ride to Whistler’s peak – brave girl). You all made this event ROCK!

Here’s an interview Tanya did with Mike Giantrini of Soho on how they were able to create the snow park and beach area:
