While watching Planet Earth on CBC this evening I was stunned and shocked by a segment on fungus. There was a paticular fungus, the Cordyceps fungus which attacks insects, especially ants and causes some very interesting results as seen on this YouTube video I found.
It’s scary and amazing at the sametime. It’s like watching a creepy Sci-Fi movie. Can you imagine this affecting humans? Creepy thought!
