After a week of having the Canon Rebel T1i, I finally installed the software that came with the camera and downloaded the photos. First impressions is I’m very happy with the photos. I’m looking forward to taking some more, though not looking forward to the image size files. I guess this is the only drawback, but as you can see it’s not bad. These were taken with the lens that came with the camera.

Very nice Gus. Glad you are enjoying the new gear. Grain looks good from your Canon. Noticed you were finding it frustrating to manually convert raw into jpgs. Invest in Adobe Lightroom! You will never use Canon software again.
Are you shooting in RAW or JPG? On my camera the largest file size I’ve seen (using RAW) was roughly 16MB. Sooo worth it though.
I agree with Ian, use Adobe Lightroom! Looking forward to seeing more photos!

As I’m not really a “photographer” I’ll have to figure out RAW one of these days. I know it has huge benefits, but for what I truly need maybe not so much. But at the sametime, it’s better safe than sorry
I would love to try to use Adobe Lighthouse, but can’t afford that right now.
