Mustacio '08
On Friday night I attended Invoke Media’s annual party known as Mustacio. Men are encouraged to grow a mustache prior to the event or be forced to wear a fake one (granted I think I saw more women wearing the fake mustaches then then the men). I sorta felt as if I was transported back to the 70′s as I have never seen so many men with mustaches. One guy even went as far as shaving part of his head, making him look like he was balding.
This was my first time at an Invoke party and the team there knows how to pull a party. Their offices was so full of people at one point it was hard not to pump into anyone. As I left at 1am, the party was still hopping and rumour has it the party usually last way into the morning hours.
Alas I wasn’t able to get some photos taken of the event but I will update when I find some on the interweb.
As usual it was great to see some blogger friends at the event. I’m starting to learn that the Social Media and Blogger community isn’t as big as I had once feared. It is always great to hang out with them and just enjoy a fun evening.
