Last week I was approached by Darrell Owen, co-founder of Your Best Face Skincare, after he read my blog post on the emerging market of men’s products. He had asked me if I would like to receive one of their products and if possible review it on my blog.
I have never been asked in the past to review any product and I have heard of other bloggers involved in reviewing products before. Of course I was excited and I said to go ahead and send me a sample.
Well today the box arrived and I was surprised at the contents. I was expecting to only receive one bottle of their Control product, but I ended up receiving 3 bottles. Now on their website these bottles retail for $160 US each. There was also a very nice Thank-you card attached as well as a CD of promotional stills and photos of the co-founders.
I have given one of the bottles to a co-worker of mine (who also uses men’s skin products) and will give the other one to Russ for him to try out. I think the 3 of us will make great test subjects and I will report on the progress.

Yeah, I’ll just stick with the stubble.
Yeah it is expensive, but I already spend about $60 on a bottle of skin cream for the face. Let’s see what the expensive stuff gets you.
