Many of you might already know that Russ has had Syd Cyd for over 14 years now, but for the past several years, she has been living with Russ’ mother. Unfortunately Russ’ mother no longer can take care of Syd Cyd so she has currently moved in with us.
Junior has been taking the addition of Syd Cyd into the house hold better than I had thought. He does still get alittle jealous when you are giving Syd alittle too much attention, but for the most part he pretty much ignores her. He no longer looks up at her perch when she flaps her wings.
Russ will probably bring over the cage soon, but now Syd Cyd has a perch that overlooks the window. She can see passers go by.
Syd Cyd, as you can see is an African Grey. She is very smart and intelligent. She will ask for what she wants and doesn’t like taking anything less. She’s very talkative and likes to make whistle noises.
Let’s hope she will enjoy her stay here now.
